PETALING JAYA: The Northern derby clash between Kedah and Perak used to be a fiery affair which could go either way, with the stadium packed to the brim and the players all pumped up to outdo each other for the bragging rights.
But tonight’s Super League encounter between the Canaries and the Seladang at the Darulaman Stadium in Alor Setar is expected to be a one-sided show.
Kedah, on the other hand, boast five wins and two losses out of their seven home matches. They also have the psychological edge of having beaten Perak 4-1 at the Perak Stadium on Feb 25. “Yusri is a good friend of mine and I know he’s a good coach. When it comes to motivation, preparation and man management, he does a good job. I believe Perak can bounce back under him,’’ said Nafuzi.
