Former Vancouver Whitecaps striker Ricketts announces retirement
Former Vancouver Whitecaps striker Tosaint Ricketts has announced his retirement from professional soccer.
Ricketts played for clubs in eight countries across his 14-year career, including Toronto FC, Finland’s Myllykosken Pallo and Lithuanian side FK Suduva Marijampole. He was with TFC from 2016 to ‘18, scoring 13 goals in 51 appearances and helping the team to a treble in 2017 when it won the MLS Cup, the Supporters’ Shield and the Canadian Championship.
