Gilles, who recently shared her ovarian cancer diagnosis, had a score of 131.46 in the free dance, securing a total score of 219.01. Great Britain's Fear and Gibson finished second, while Lithuania's Reed and Ambrulevicius took third place. In the women's competition, Kaori Sakamoto continued her dominance and scored a season-best of 151 in the free skate program, winning gold with a total score of 226.13.
