A member of the Canadian Armed Forces from Nova Scotia has been sentenced in P.E.I. provincial court for distributing intimate images of a female without her consent.

Joshua Paul MacNeil-Johnson, 26, pleaded guilty in provincial court in Charlottetown on Feb. 9 to distributing intimate images of a female without her consent.CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. —

He was staying at a residence in Charlottetown with the ex-girlfriend and the victim at the time of the offence. MacNeil-Johnson discovered the intimate images when he used the victim's phone to order food. The victim's age was not disclosed in court.Images sent MacNeil-Johnson did not have a prior criminal record. MacDonald said that MacNeil-Johnson has a long history of accessing intimate images on the internet and different forms of pornography were found on his phone.
