Canada’s Roger Sloan ‘taking care of my business’ on his second PGA Tour stint Globe_Sports
Despite collecting US$41,310 for his work on the Champions Course at PGA National, Sloan wasn’t close to satisfied – a far cry from when his mind would wander to thoughts of a return to golf’s top circuit as he toiled on the second-tier Web.com Tour.
Sloan’s earnings are up to more than $400,000 this season – nearly half of that was won in Puerto Rico – after playing just one PGA event, the RBC Canadian Open, in 2017-18. A shift in mental strategy has helped him deal with a round or a tournament’s inevitable ups and downs. “He struggled,” Taylor said. “For him to come back out here, regroup and play great … it’s cool to watch.”
