Former Caloocan Representative Edgar Erice announced on Thursday that he will file a motion for reconsideration with the Commission on Elections ( Comelec ) following their decision to disqualify him from the upcoming 2025 elections . Comelec granted a petition on Wednesday due to Erice's alleged violation of the Omnibus Election Code by spreading false and alarming information regarding the commission's deal with Miru Systems Inc .
