Sky News host Chris Kenny says Brett Sutton, Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews and the police should apologise to all Victorians for creating a state of “panic and overreaction” during the COVID pandemic.

Mr Kenny’s remarks come after outgoing chief health officer Brett Sutton was awarded Victorian of the Year, with many locals outraged over the choice given his role in the state’s brutal lockdowns.“Really? Mr Kenny reiterated his call for a national royal commission into Australia’s response to the COVID pandemic. “If these politicians and bureaucrats are so proud of what they did, why do they want to hide their actions from scrutiny?” he said.
