A tweet trumpeting an NBA trade uses the downtown Calgary skyline as a stand\u002Din for Milwaukee.
On Wednesday, a post on X, formerly known as Twitter, trumpeted the trade of Portland Trail Blazers’ seven-time all-star guard Damian Lillard to the Milwaukee Bucks.Lillard was sent to the Bucks in a three-club deal involving the Phoenix Suns following 11 years playing for the Portland Trail Blazers.Giannis Antetokounmpo in Bucks uniforms is back-boarded by a downtown skyline that’s more than a three-pointer long shot from the Wisconsin city.
There’s no mistaking the cross-hatched texture of downtown Calgary’s Bow building looming behind the Suncor Energy Centre hovering between the two basketball stars, along with the city’s other glass and steel sentinels. The photo bears the tag of online sports news source Bleacher Report which primarily covers professional basketball.
