Calgary police identify suspect in Alpine Park sexual assault yyc yyccrime
200 block of Alpine Avenue S.W. and posed as a potential buyer to a female employee around 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 31. During a tour of the home the suspect confined the employee to a room and began touching her sexually without consent, a CPS news release said Saturday. When she threatened to call the police, the suspect fled the home and drove away in dark-coloured SUV similar to an older-style Toyota RAV4.
On Saturday, CPS said they had identified the man. He has not been officially charged, leading to police not disclosing his identity. The release said further investigative steps will follow. In a news release CPS previously issued, the man was described as being between 6′ to 6’2″ in height with a heavy build, medium complexion and thick beard. He was wearing a grey hoodie or jacket at the time of the assault with blue pants and a black toque.
