KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 6 ― Bursa Malaysia remained lower at mid-morning on profit-taking and in line with the weaker Wall Street performance overnight.

Market breadth was negative with losers outpacing gainers 383 to 251 gainers, while 356 counters were unchanged, 1,220 untraded and nine others suspended.Among the heavyweights, IHH Healthcare rose five sen to RM6.06, Digi eased one sen to RM3.87, Hong Leong Bank rose 10 sen to RM20.44, Maybank trimmed four sen to RM8.74, Public Bank eased one sen to RM4.29, and Petronas Chemicals shed five sen to RM8.35.
