KUALA LUMPUR, March 17 — Bursa Malaysia Securities Bhd has issued an unusual market activity query to AirAsia X Bhd following a sharp rise in the counter’s share price and volume recently.
At today’s close, AAX shares rose 27 sen or 19.15 per cent to RM1.68, with 43.86 million shares traded. “Investors are advised to take note of the company’s reply to the above UMA query, which will be posted on Bursa Malaysia’s website under the company announcements section when making their investment decision,” the exchange said in a statement today. — Bernama
