A security guard found the burned bodies of an unidentified male and female in a vacant lot in Nasugbu, Batangas.
According to Nasugbu Police Station Deputy Police Captain Judito Baligod, the bodies were said to have been dumped and possibly burned in the vacant lot, as indicated by the cap of a gasoline container found at the scene.
“Ito ay itinapon lang sa lugar and then binuhusan ng gasoline and sinunog po,” he said in a report by Cedric Castillo on GMA’s “24 Oras Weekend” on Sunday. The bodies have yet to be identified, and both are estimated to have been aged between 30 to 40 years. Investigators are now looking into possible CCTV footage of the area, with nearby residents not noticing any fire or smoke.
