The targeted area is a 10.68-acre site bound by Halifax Street and Lougheed Highway to the north and sound, Gilmore Avenue to the west, and Douglas Road and Madison Avenue to the east. It’s currently a low-rise commercial area, home to an Executive Suites Hotel, a Club16 Trevor Linden Fitness, a Staples, a Sleep Country, as well as a Cactus Club Cafe, Tim Hortons, and White Spot.
