Three Burnaby-based organizations are receiving provincial funding towards public safety and environmental programs.
As well, the WRA Wildlife Rescue Association of British Columbia and Stream of Dreams Mural Society are being provided with $140,000 and $55,000 respectively. "I am grateful to see this funding support for these key players who make our communities safer and a joy to be in." For environment, the money will aid in animal protection, conservation and environmental awareness programs.
