Guilbault and Team East will face-off against Team West this weekend.
After representing Team Canada at the World U-17 Hockey Challenge in November, the 17-year-old has been selected to represent Team East at the 2023 BCHL Top Prospects Game on Friday in front of pro scouts and NCAA coaches.The rosters include players already chosen for the 60th anniversary three-on-three all-star tournament, selections by NHL Central Scouting and players chosen by B.C.-based NHL scouts.
An on-ice combine is scheduled for Friday with off-ice testing also scheduled for the morning of the same day. Fred Harbinson, Guilbault's bench boss with the Vees, is set to coach Team East, while Nanaimo Clippers head coach Colin Birkas will be in charge of Team West. Meanwhile, Ryden Evers will lace up on the other side of the ice with BCHL's Team West.
Also a Burnaby product, the 17-year-old forward currently has 12 goals in 20 points in 33 games with the Surrey Eagles.
