Burgers and beer: Popular food truck Johnny and Mae's to open year-round location in the taproom of Landwash Brewery in Mount Pearl | SaltWire | READ MORE
Chris Conway, who owns Landwash with his partner Christina Coady, told SaltWire they had admired the food and creativity of Johnny and Mae’s for some time. When both businesses were in Quidi Vidi this past summer, they chatted more, discussed the idea of having Johnny and Mae’s as the food provider for the brewery and it went from there.

It isn’t the first foray into Mount Pearl for Johnny and Mae’s, who opened a food truck in the city in 2021, to complement their other truck on Kings Bridge Road in St. John’s. McKenna said both trucks were flat out all summer and Mount Pearl has been really receptive to their business, both the city and the customers.
