Not a great difference
The value of planned construction in Belleville was a little lower last month than in July of 2022.In July of last year 91 permits were issued by the city with a value of $36.8 million.
The biggest projects getting permits last month were for an addition at Loyalist College worth $16 million, one for an apartment building at 660 Sidney Street for $4.8 million, and a $1.7 million permit for an addition to the Salvation Army Citadel on Bridge Street West.For the first 7 months of this year permits worth $112 million have been issued. In the same period last year permits valued at $137 million had been issued.
