“I knew this was gonna happen,” Pegula said, while weeping.“We also remember other heroes in Buffalo who deserve to be mentioned.”
“And if I could mention one more person,” Pegula tearfully added, “who I cheer for every day — my wife Kim. The new $1.5-billion stadium, scheduled to open in time for the 2026 NFL season, will inherit the name of its predecessor, Pegula announced Monday: Highmark Stadium.
