Bruce Springsteen is coming to Toronto later this year, but fans may be in for some sticker shock as the singer dubbed the “working class hero” defends his ticket prices.
Bruce Springsteen, the “working class hero,” is headed to Toronto, but ticket prices for a new leg of his tour may not be as favourable to the very people he sings about.
The tour began in Florida on Feb. 1 with their first North American show in seven years, complete with a 28-song set with fan favourites “Born To Run,” “Wrecking Ball” and “Prove It All Night” which led to critical acclaim for the band’s “Scotiabank tweeted on Tuesday that Springsteen and The E Street Band are coming to Toronto this fall.Tickets for his shows in Toronto at Scotiabank Arena go on sale Feb. 22 at 10 a.m.
The ticket-selling platform stressed being a Verified Fan does not guarantee tickets, saying it expects there will be more demand than tickets available. With Beyoncé’s recent use of the Verified Fan program for her, unlucky fans were found on long wait-lists if they weren’t chosen as part of the lottery system.
