On Saturday around 7 p.m., the snowboarder collided with snow-making equipment. After receiving first aid from staff at the ski hill, he was brought to the Brome-Missisquoi-Perkins Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The Bromont, montagne d’expériences organization said it was “profoundly saddened” by the accident and “psychological support is being offered to teams directly implicated in the intervention.”
