Generations of David Fisher's family have holidayed at the Bright Caravan Camping Reserve but a proposal by park management will end the tradition.

"It's special to me. I grew up here as a happy child, played along with cousins and friends, and my kids did the same. It is a family caravan park," Mr Fisher, from Melbourne, said. With a new 12-month contract and a relocation across the park at their own cost to a smaller site, the Stewarts will need to decide what to do next.

It's the end of an era."Mr Fisher said there had been a request for the contract, a freedom of information request and also a meeting with the council but little information had been gained.
"We were pleased to be able offer new sites to 19 of the 22 guests who expressed interest, and will update the three other guests if further sites become available," the spokesperson said.
