BREAKING: ‘Maymay’ to make landfall over Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, La Union
Tropical Storm Maymay is expected to make landfall over Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, and La Union tonight or early tomorrow morning. It will then traverse the landmass of northern and central Luzon until tomorrow, according to PAGASA.
Signal number two remains hoisted over these areas. After making landfall, Maymay will weaken into a tropical depression by tomorrow morning. It may be downgraded further into a low-pressure area by tomorrow afternoon or evening.

Afterwards, it will cross the landmass of Northern and Central Luzon until Thursday. PAGASA warned of possible flash floods or landslides in areas experiencing moderate to heavy and sometimes intense rains. The rest of the country would have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the Southwest Monsoon.
