The 68-year-old owner of a Brampton boxing gym faces 52 criminal charges stemming from historic sexual assault allegations, Peel Regional Police announced Thursday. Police are appealing for anyone with information to com forward.Police say they believe there may be more victims of the historical sexual assaults at the Brampton boxing gym, King of the Ring.
Ajaz Khan, president and owner of King of the Ring, was arrested in Wasaga Beach, Ont., where police say he is from, following the execution of a search warrant on March 27. During the 20 years Khan's Brampton boxing club has been open, police say "it is alleged that he committed numerous sexual assaults on multiple youth victims."
Khan's charges include child pornography, sexual interference, sexual assault and corrupting a minor, police said.CBC InvestigatesSaloni Bhugra joined CBC News as a Donaldson Scholar in May 2022.
