“Jason Kenney remained the Premier of Alberta until he resigned on August 24, 2021, at which point he was succeeded by Doug Schweitzer on an interim basis. “Following Schweitzer’s resignation, Tyler Shandro was appointed as the new interim Premier until a permanent leader can be elected.”
