Boy gets 20 stitches on the face after being caught up in Tuaran brawl

KOTA KINABALU: An 11-year-old boy who happened to be at the wrong place at the wrong time ended up in hospital after he was caught in the middle of a fight in Tuaran district, some 40km from here.

The boy received 20 stitches on his face after being beaten up with a belt buckle in the incident at Commercial Centre Taman Telipok Ria on April 18.

He said the fight occurred after the groups, one from Taman Telipok Ria and the other from nearby Taman Tuaran Impian, mocked each other.
