A man was arrested and another three-year-old boy was taken to hospital after a crash in Braybrook on Tuesday evening.
An eight-year-old boy has suffered life-threatening injuries and another child is in hospital after a car allegedly hit them while they played in a laneway in a suburb in Melbourne’s west on Tuesday evening.
Victoria Police said a 48-year-old man was arrested after his Toyota Prado allegedly struck two parked cars in a rear laneway between Wirraway Ave and Liberator Lane in Braybrook before hitting two young children who were playing about 5.20pm. Police said in a statement the Prado then hit another parked car and the eight-year-old boy was pinned between the vehicles. Emergency services later freed the child.
He was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries. Another three-year-old boy was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
