Sauber’s Valtteri Bottas has just one race left to score points in 2024 after a misjudgement from Liam Lawson cost him dear
Liam Lawson has accepted blame for running Valtteri Bottas off the track and costing the Sauber driver a shot at his first points of the Formula 1 season during the Qatar Grand Prix. Bottas, who will leave Sauber at the end of the year, has yet to secure a top-10 finish this season but a floor upgrade ahead of the Las Vegas Grand Prix has made the team more competitive in the closing stages of 2024.
