Amazon has released the first full trailer for the Borat sequel, SachaBaronCohen's filmed-in-secret follow-up to his hit 2006 film:
Borat Subsequent Moviefilm,
leading up to the 2020 U.S. presidential election, the film will feature Cohen's fictional journalist coming face-to-face with conservative America, including prominent Republican politicians.Directed by Larry Charles, the trailer teases Borat's move from Kazakhstan to the United States for a special mission — and includes a surprise convention drop-in during a Mike Pence speech.
The rest of the trailer features the comedian being pulled over by cops, going shopping for Halloween costumes, and visiting a rural town amid the coronavirus pandemic.
