Australian 800 metre runner Peter Bol has crashed out of the World Athletics Champions as the world doping police slammed the management of his suspension debacle.
The 29-year-old struggled to a fifth placed finish with a time of 1:45.75 in his heat which was not quick enough to earn him a place in the semi-finals.

It’s not fair on the athlete. We accept that.
Bol is reportedly still furious with Athletics Australia and its management of his ban and EPO tests. On August 1 SIA confirmed it had officially ended its investigation into his positive Sample A after it was found to have been negative.
