Boeing and the union representing striking machinists have negotiated a new contract proposal that would provide bigger pay raises and bonuses.

Retirement: Company 401 match increased to 100% of the first 8% contributed, in addition to a Special Company Retirement Contribution of 4% guaranteed company contribution. Additionally, there is a one-time $5,000 contribution to each unit member's Boeing 401. IAM District 751 President Jon Holden and IAM District W24 President Brandon Bryant released the following joint statement, reiterating some of the key goals of the strike and pointing to its role in moving the company to improve upon its prior proposals:
