Dale Cook was missing for more than three weeks after leaving home with a water bottle to go for a walk around the block.
The body of Toowoomba man Dale Cook has been found more than three weeks after he was first reported missing.When he disappeared Mr Cook had a bottle of water with him but did not have his mobile phone and was not dressed for hiking in the nearby bushland.In a social media post Mr Cook's family said his body had been discovered by rescue crews in bushland not far from his home in Middle Ridge .
"We send our gratitude and admiration to the rescue services that never gave up searching over these long 24 days.""Finally, thank you to our wider community of family, friends and neighbours who buoyed our spirits with their loving acts and words," Craig Cook said.
