Body of 7th water surge victim found

Kemaman police say the body of Putri Balqis Izzati Abdul Rahman was found 24km from the location of the water surge incident this morning. – The Malaysian Insight file pic, July 4, 2023.

Kemaman district police chief Hanyan Ramlan said the body was confirmed after her next of kin made initial identification. “It is the seventh body found as of now, and the search-and-rescue operation will continue to locate the remaining three victims.”
