BOC Port of Davao District Collector Erastus Austria made the announcement during a visit by Singaporean Ambassador to the Philippines Gerard Ho, the BOC said in a statement.Austria said the plan is in line with the National Economic and Development Authority – Region XI’s proposed plan to update the Davao Gulf Development Plan of 2013.
“The 2013 proposal seeks to advance the Davao Region as a ‘rising global frontier.’ It outlines how agencies can work together to realize it under President Ferdinand Marcos [Jr.]’s 8-point economic plan,” the BOC statement read.
