Alek Manoah\u0027s struggles continued as the Blue Jays were unable to score the sweep against the Rays.
Walker, who helped steer Manoah through an AL Cy Young finalist season in 2022, is still trying to figure it out, as was clear by the look on his face given Sunday’s early struggles. While there are certainly some mechanical issues and perhaps a dent in Manoah’s usually flourishing confidence, is he perhaps trying to do too much?.
While the Jays are still confident Manoah can right himself soon enough, regaining any semblance to last season would be a welcome addition to start turning things around.
