Hollywood actors’ strike delays release of sequel to Australian film The Dry

“It is with some regret, but a large amount of conviction that we have decided to postpone the release of,” Bana, who is also a producer of the film, said in a statement. “I’m incredibly proud of this much anticipated Australian film and want to be able to do it justice by promoting it thoroughly.” Bana said he was a long-standing member of the Screen Actors Guild-American Federation of Television and Radio Artists, the Hollywood union that joined screenwriters in striking last week. They are demanding higher base rates of pay, residual payments for streaming shows and more control over the use of artificial intelligence.“I stand in support of the changes that SAG-AFTRA are fighting for on behalf of all working actors,” Bana said.
