: According to Bintulu Port Holdings Bhd , several sectors will significantly contribute to port operations and development, including methanol plant operations in Kidurong, biomass exports, increased handling of roll-on/roll-off vessels , cement, and coal.
It said the effective management and operation led to a revenue increase of RM821.64 million in 2023 from RM819.79 million in 2022, with a post-tax profit of RM125.06 million. Sarawak State Secretary and BPHB chairman Datuk Amar Mohamad Abu Bakar Marzuki, in announcing the group’s integrated annual report for 2023, said the group demonstrated resilience, adaptability, and commitment to excellence despite various challenges.
He also introduced a new corporate culture focusing on customer-centric, solution-focused, step-up, result-minded, and value-driven.
