United States Study Centre’s Stephen Loosley says for US President Joe Biden to leave behind classified documents at an office is “deeply embarrassing”.

Documents with classified markings from Mr Biden’s tenure as Vice President during the Obama administration were discovered in his office at the University of Pennsylvania, potentially putting the President in breach of several laws.

“The fact that these documents are probably few in number, about ten, with classifications that may or may not be particularly secret would be lost in the wash,” he told Sky News Australia.“But the trap for them is if they pursue the current President very, very vigorously over this issue, then it opens the door for an even more vigorous pursuit of former president Trump.”
