The Andrews government has come under fire for breaking an election promise, despite pleas that the current transport network was not “coping with demand”.
The Premier announced new electrified lines to Melton and Wydham Vale ahead of the 2018 election and pledged to unblock a bottleneck in the west by extending networks to the booming suburbs.
