Total calls for service – Belleville Police responded to 59 calls for service over a 24-hour period beginning at 5:00 am on the 24On the 24of November 2022 at 5:32 p.m. Belleville Police responded to the area of Ritchie Street and Catharine Street, Belleville, Ontario, regarding a male causing a disturbance. The male was causing issues and trying to start fights with parents picking up their children. Police attended the area and located 61-year-old Ernest Haughton of no fixed address.
Haughton was arrested and transported to the Belleville Police Service, where he was charged with Breach of Probation and Cause Disturbance. The male was later released with a court date of December 29City Police also report a fairly steady 24-hour period responding to several incidents that ended peacefully with Police intervention.
