Be The Ball: A family’s community legacy continues
Be The Ball is Sudbury’s newest indoor golf simulator and patio destination. However, it’s not just another food and entertainment venue. It is operated by a family that has deep roots in the community, and the business itself is located in a truly iconic space.
Desjardins' parents would go on to purchase the Townehouse Tavern, where, as a family, they converted it to Sudbury's main music venue with live original/alternative music being played seven days a week. She and her brother Bernie later opened The Laughing Buddha. Desjardins is pleased with how she, her parents, and her brothers had a strong hand in revitalizing the area by purchasing, opening, cleaning up, and running several successful businesses on the block.
Be The Ball, located in Alder Hall, features 20-foot wide HD golf simulators. In addition to golf, a variety of other games can be played. The games are suitable for new and experienced golfers.
