The event will include food, crafts and a kick sled race for all ages
Barkerville Historic Town and Park will be hosting a free event for Family Day. All the action will take place on Sunday Feb. 19 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
“It’s shaping up to be a very fun day,” says Rocky Nenka, Barkerville Historic Town & Park’s Commerce and Indigenous Relations Manager. Barkerville’s summer season will run from June 3 to September 10 with exhibits, public programming, campground, accommodations and some shops and eateries open daily.
