Barenaked Ladies bringing holiday cheer to Thunder Bay

Well, actually they’re headed to the Thunder Bay Community Auditorium before heading home for the holidays.

The multi-platinum band is hitting the road this December, performing holiday fan favourites from its Barenaked for the Holidays album, along with plenty of other songs and surprises.“We’re bringing Barenaked Holiday Cheer to your Hometown,” said BNL’s Ed Robertson. “It’s been a couple of long, cold, lonely winters, so let’s have some fun.”

The idea for the tour germinated last December, when Hometown Holidays took over Toronto’s CAA Theatre, which led to a cross-country tour in 2022.Tickets go on sale to the public on Thursday at 10 a.m., though a Ticketmaster presale, requiring the code HOMETOWN, is scheduled for 10 a.m. on Wednesday.
