Barcelona yang mengukuhkan kedudukan pendahulu kepada 11 mata mengatasi Real Madrid turut memperkenalkan pemain berusia 15 tahun, Lamine Yamal.
Yamal yang merupakan produk Akademi Barcelona adalah pemain kedua termuda dalam sejarah kelab selepas Albert Almasque pada 1902 yang bermain dalam Piala Macaya pada usia 13 tahun, 11 bulan dan enam hari.
“Dia memiliki bakat luar biasa di bahagian serangan. Dia tidak kelihatan seperti baru berusia 15 tahun, dia lebih matang daripada usianya. Saya melihatnya dalam latihan dan dia menunjukkannya. Yamal sempat melakukan percubaan tepat dalam kemenangan yang membawa Barca menghampiri kejuaraan La Liga ketika saingan berbaki enam perlawanan.
