Merivale boss Justin Hemmes has emerged as the buyer of a circa $22 million property on Belongil Beach, after spending $16m on nearby shack in February.
Justin Hemmes first purchased this $16 million Belongil Beach house in February.The Merivale boss’ most recent buy is understood to come a close second to Byron Bay’s beachfront record, which was recently reset with the sale of a Marine Parade property at nearby Wategos Beach.
Hemmes’ circa $22 million property was sold by Jeremy Bennett, principal of Byron Bay Property Sales. While Bennett declined to comment on the buyer or confirm the exact price, he did confirm Belongil Beach is arguably Byron Bay’s most tightly held enclave.
