Kajang Municipal Council Zone 6 councillor Billy Sun said, “The upkeep of Jalan KB2/15 falls under the Kampung Baru Balakong Industrial Area Association.”
However, he said that the association could not take immediate action to fix the roads since some factories in the area had not contributed funds for this purpose.He said that the association had patched up the potholes in response to complaints received from MPKj councillors, assemblymen and the public.
Association chairman Datuk Pang Yoon Shin said despite receiving numerous complaints, some of the factories had not contributed to help repair the roads. Pang said that most of the factories in the area had yet to receive their Certificate of Completion and Compliance .“The association bought 120 tonnes of tar to pave the roads and cover the potholes.
