According to court records, Wang has only been charged with unauthorized use of a computer so far. The alleged offence occurred in 2018. He was fired from the utility this month.Article content Wang describes himself as a researcher at Hydro-Québec on his Facebook page. He also wrote that he studied at the University of Arkansas and was a research fellow at the Queen Mary University of London.
RCMP Det.-Sgt. Annie Roy testified Wednesday morning at the bail hearing, which is expected to last two days. Wang required the services of a translator as he listened to the Roy’s testimony. He is represented by defence lawyer Gary Martin and the Crown is represented by federal prosecutor Marc Cigana.
