A horrified Sydneysider was left stunned on Boxing Day morning when she stumbled upon piles of rubbish strewn across a park just metres away from a popular beach.
The horrified local claimed many personal items and the rubbish were left behind from a backpacker"festival", which happens annually on Christmas Day at Bronte.
Personal items such as shoes and green shopping bags were among the rubbish left at the park. One hundred people were permitted to gather outdoors at the time due to COVID-19 restrictions but NSW Police estimated 200 to 300 revellers were in attendance.
