WA has recorded one new case of Covid and more exposure sites, while concerns remain after 24 close contacts failed to get tested.
Western Australia recorded one new case of coronavirus overnight related to the backpacker cluster — a close contact of a recent case who is in hotel quarantine.
It brings the total number of local cases related to the outbreak to 14, including the original infected French backpacker who arrived in WA from Queensland.There are also 1488 casual contacts, with 231 yet to be tested.WA’s total number of cases is 1158, with 32 active cases.
