Those attending the expo can visit displays and find out more about current job opportunities
The Baawaating Career Expo will feature a number of businesses and educational organizations in Sault Ste. Marie.
The expo will take place on Wednesday, April 26 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Shingwauk Kinoomaage Gamig , located at 1491 Queen St E, Sault Ste. Marie and will include Ontario Lottery and Gaming, one of the area's largest employers. The event will begin with a drumming and smudging ceremony, according to a news release.
, services available, and educational opportunities to begin or advance their careers from participating businesses, agencies, and educational institutions. “Sault Ste. Marie is an amazing city with so many interesting opportunities for employment,” said Esther Zdolec, OLG’s senior vice-president, People and Culture. “The expo is a great way to bring people together and connect community members with local businesses, career services and educational institutions.”“OLG has deep roots in Sault Ste. Marie, and we are proud of the support we provide this community,” said Zdolec.
