The B-Sens scored on all 3 of their shootout chances where Egor Sokolov was credited with the winner. 7 different players scored for Belleville including captain Dillon Hetherington who’s short handed goal late in the third period forced the game to overtime. Belleville’s special teams were the difference in the game. Along with the “shorty” the Sens scored 3 on the power play.Ridley Greig scored a goal and two assists. Sokolov also scored in regulation as did Rourke Chartier, Viktor Lodin, Cole Cassels and Philippe Daoust.
The win gives Belleville a 6-6-1 record in the AHL North Division. Tomorrow night they host the division leading Toronto Marlies.
